Vineyard Finishes 6th Overall at SAU

(September 19, 2025) Magnolia, Arkansas - After running at Harding Univeresity last week, the Bucks kept their schedule going with another Great American Conference foe at Southern Arkansas University on Friday evening. The Lois Davis Invitational is the fourth race of the season for the ladies and a normal stop on the schedule for UARM.

There were a total of 64 finishers in the 5K race with five teams represented, including NCAA DI University of Louisiana Monroe. The Bucks were joined by Bossier Parish Community College from the junior college ranks. 

Sophomore Darcy Vineyard (Claremore, OK) continued her top 10 finishing ways this evening with a season personal record of 19:29.03. It as good enough for 6th overall. ULM had the top five finishers, and a ULM runner finishes seventh behind Vineyard. 

Ellie Taylor (Atkins, AR) finished with her best time of the year with a 22:18.25. It as good enough for 38th. Averie Dunn (Kingston, AR) was close behind, finishing 45th overall with a time of 23:06.72.

Freshmen Katelynn Foster (Mena, AR) had her best race of her collegiate career with a personal best. She ran a 23:30.45 that was good enough for 48th.

The ladies have the week off next week before returning to action at the Chile Pepper Festival on October 4th.
