(September 12, 2025) Searcy, Arkansas - After their first two races of the season, the Bucks are competing well despite being down a runner due to injury. On Friday, the ladies competed in the Steve Guymon Invitational, hosted by Harding University. There were 11 colleges and universities represented on Friday.
Darcy Vineyard (Claremore, OK) continues a great start to her sophomore campaign, finishing 8th overall out of 68 runners. Her time of 19:58.75 is her season best in a 5K race.
Freshmen Averie Dunn (Kingston, AR) and Ellie Taylor (Atkins, AR) are getting better each week. Dunn shaved nearly 35 seconds off her race time with a 22:24.27. It was good enough for 28th overall. Taylor was right on her heels with her own personal record with a 22:33.81 and placed 29th.
Katelynn Foster (Mena, AR) continues to race hard with a 24:59.82, placing 45th.

The ladies will now head to Southern Arkansas University next Friday for the Lois Davis Invitational in Magnolia.
