(September 6, 2025) Tyler, Texas - After kicking off their season last week at the University of Central Arkansas, the ladies of the Bucks Cross Country hit the road for the Texas Rose Horse Park for the UT Tyler Cross Country Open. The Bucks were down a runner due to injury, so only 4 ladies competed in a field of 88 runners. 

Darcy Vineyard (Claremore, OK) had her best finish of the season, placing 11th. The sophomore ran a 20:03.09 in the 5K race.

Ellie Taylor (Atkins, AR) and Averie Dunn (Kingston, AR) followed up for the Bucks at 46th and 53rd, respectively. Taylor ran a 22:41.28, while Dunn finished with a 23:01.99. 

Katelynn Foster (Mena, AR) rounded out the finishers for UARM with a 24:38.34, placing 63rd.

The ladies continue their season next Friday, September 12th, at Harding University for the Steve Guymon Invitational.
