(February 28, 2026) Shawnee, Oklahoma - After splitting on Tuesday with Eastern Oklahoma at home, the ladies hit the road for the Fire Lake JUCO Classic on Friday and Saturday against region DI foes: Rose State, Eastern Oklahoma, and Seminole State. The only non-region school the Bucks faced with St. Charles Community College from Region 16 in Missouri.
The Bucks took down St. Charles Community College on Saturday for Head Coach Tracy Nealy's 600th career softball win as a head coach. His college record up to this point is 167-132 at UA Rich Mountain, including three straight 30+ win season. His 2025 squad set a school record with 45 wins and finished as the Region 2 and District Runner-Ups. All five of his teams have finished as NJCAA All-Academic Teams with 42 student-athletes being named to the NJCAA All-Academic Team. Coach Nealy has had 18 ladies advance their athletic careers at the 4-year level.
Coach Nealy came to UARM after a 34 year high school career at Horatio and De Queen High Schools. In his 25 years at De Queen, he compiled a 433-193 softball record with a state championship in 2017 and made the Final Four 6 times. He also was a very accomplished basketball coach at both schools. In 2003, he won a girls basketball state championship and made the Final Four two other times in 1998 and 2004.
Coach Tracy Nealy is married to Patti and has 2 daughters: JK and Nikki. He is the proud Pops to Chanli, Faithlynn, and Slate.
