Men Finish Fourth at Lois Davis Invitational

(September 19, 2025) Magnolia, Arkansas - After a solid finish last week in Searcy, the Bucks headed south this time around to Southern Arkansas University for the Lois Davis Invtiational. The men competed against five other colleges/universities with 57 total finishers.

University of Louisiana Monroe led the way in the race. The Bucks finished in the middle of three Great American Conference universities: SAU (2nd), OBU (3rd), UARM (4th), and UAM (5th).

Leading the way again for UARM was Eytan Mirie (Langston, Ontario). He finished 13th overall with 27:15.67, which is a season best for Mirie in an 8K. 

After a tough weekend at Harding, Aiden Kimp (Mena, AR) rebounded with a solid race under 30 minutes. His time of 29:52.98 was good enough for 40th overall.

UARM then had a herd of Bucks finish together. Julio Alfonso Grano (Waldron, AR), Alfred Rodriguez (Dalhart, TX), Camren Lynn-Edward Smith (Bella Vista, AR), Ethan Mazzola (Benton, AR), & Landon Defoor (Waldron, AR) all finished from 43rd to 48th, respectively. OBU had a runner finish 44th that broke up the Bucks.

Noah Burns (Weatherford, TX) & Hunter Solomon (Nederland, TX) rounded out the finishers for the Bucks, finishing 52nd and 53rd, respectively.

The men compete again on Saturday, October 4th, at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville.
