Bucks Finish 9th in Tyler

(September 6, 2025) Tyler, Texas - After running a 5K at Beaver Fork Lake last weekend, the men of Bucks Cross Country ran their first 8K of the season this morning at the UT Tyler Cross Country Open. The men ran on a rainy and hilly track at Texas Rose Horse Park. There were 12 teams competing with a total of 125 runners.

The Bucks finished 9th in a field that included NCAA DI, DII, NAIA, and NJCAA colleges and universities. 

Eytan Mirie (Langton, Ontario) was the top finisher for UARM with 27:46.43. The time was good enough for 26th overall. 

The trio of Aiden Kimp (Mena, AR), Julio Alfonso Grano (Waldron, AR), & Alfred Rodriguez (Dalhart, TX) finished 74th through 84th. Kimp ran a 30:36.56, placing 74th, while Grano placed 78th with a time of 30:46.26. Rodrigeuz ran a 31:04.67 that was good for 84th overall. 

The rest of the Bucks finished as follows:

89th - Ethan Mazzola (Benton, AR) - 31:31.74

92nd - Noah Burns (Weatherford, TX) - 31:55.01

97th - Camren Lynn-Edward Smith (Bella Vista, AR) - 32:20.90

105th - Hunter Solomon (Nederland, TX) - 33:28.25

The men compete again on Friday at Harding University in the Steve Guymon Invitational.
