(April 18, 2026) Little Rock, Arkansas - After running at the University of Oklahoma last Friday, the Bucks headed to UA Little Rock on Friday and Saturday for the Little Rock Invitational. The two day event was held at the Coleman Sports Complex. The Bucks competed against NCAA DI competition on the weekend.=
On Friday, UARM took four athletes to compete in the 400 meter hurdles and 200 meter dash. Khobee Osborne (De Queen, AR) and Josiah Jackson (Norman, OK) finished 2nd and 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles with times of 55.76 and 57.41 to score points for the Bucks. Kale Erickson (Lindstrom, MN) competed in the 200 and finished 16th with a 23.66.
On Saturday, the day began with the 1500 meter run with Carlos McFadden (Sherwood, AR) and Camren Lynn-Edward Smith (Bella Vista, AR). McFadden finished 13th with a time of 4:25.99. Smith rounded out the race with a 4:52.29 to finish 19th.
Erickson and Micah Brooks (Northside, Anguilla) competed in the 100 meter dash finishing 12th and 17th with times of 11.77 and 11.94.
The duo of Jackson and Osborne ran again on Saturday in the 400 meter dash. Jackson placed 3rd with a time of 50.65, while Osborne ran a 51.32 to place 6th to once again score for the Bucks.
Saturday wrapped up with the 800 meter run with Ethan Mazzola (Benton, AR), Alfred Rodriguez (Dalhart, TX) and McFadden. Mazzola placed 8th with a time of 2:05.75, while Rodriguez placed 11th with a 2:09.57. McFadden wrapped up the race with a 2:13.13 to place 18th.
UARM is scheduled to compete again May 8th at the University of Arkansas.
