(April 10, 2026) Norman, Oklahoma - The men were back in action on Friday at the John Jacobs Invitational, hosted by the University of Oklahoma. The Bucks are coming down the home stretch of their outdoor season as we are now into April, heading towards May.
The event started for UARM in the 1500 meter run. The trio of runners finished 25th through 27th with Ethan Mazzola (Benton, AR) leading the pack with a 4:34.88. Alfred Rodriguez (Dalhart, TX) and Camren Lynn-Edward Smith (Bella Vista, AR) ran times of 4:36.9 and 4:53.21.
In the 100 meter dash,Kale Erickson (Lindstrom, MN) set a personal record with a time of 11.82 that was good enough for 22nd. Micah Brooks (Northside, Anguilla) came in 24th with a 12.09. Both competed i the 200 meter dash with times of 24.07 and 24.53, respectively.
Norman native Josiah Jackson competed in his normal events of the 400 meter run and the 200 meter dash. In the 400, he finished 18th with a time of 49.85 before running a 22.76 in the 200 to place 22nd.
Khobee Osborne (De Queen, AR) had another top 5 finish this season at OU in the 400 meter hurdles. The freshmen ran a 56.62 in the race with 10 total competitors.
UARM will compete again on Friday evening in the distance events before concluding their weekend on Saturday in the Little Rock Invitational.
