(March 21, 2026) Wilburton, Oklahoma - After splitting on Thursday at Union Bank Field, the Bucks headed an hour and a half west to the campus of Eastern Oklahoma State College to conclude the 4-game region non-conference matchup.
Much like on Thursday, the Bucks fell in the first game of the day, before run-ruling the Mountaineers, 17-4 in 7-innings.
Nobody had a bigger week at the plate than Andrew Stancin (Fernandina, FL). He capped off a big week with a pair of home runs and 5 RBIs in the split. One of his home runs was a grand slam. His week totals were 5 home runs, a double, 12 RBIs, and 9 runs. He also was walked 6 times and reached base 3 more times on hit-by-pitches for a .773 on base percentage. Classmate Ethan Miller (Hallsville, TX) added a grand slam of his own on the day with 5 RBIs.
Aiden Poirier (Richmond, TX) continues to hit at a high rate with 5 hits in the doubleheader, including a double and 3 RBIs. Rowdy Hand (Fairfield, TX) did his job as a leadoff, reaching base 4 times on the afternoon and scoring all 4 times he reached. On Thursday, Dylan Gibson (Springdale, AR) broke the career hit-by-pitch record and added to that record this afternoon with another HBP. That gives him 31 career hit-by-pitches.
In the 17-4 win, UARM got a solid start out of Mason Moore (Greenwood, AR). The right hander lasted 3.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits. Connor Frith (Perryville, AR) came on in relief and pitched the final 3.1 innings to get the win. Frith (2-0) gave up 2 runs on 2 hits and struck out 3.
The Bucks will now play again on Monday against Bossier Parish Community College at Union Bank Field. First pitch is scheduled for 2 pm against the Cavaliers.
