(February 10, 2026) Mena, Arkansas - After weather knocked out the original series at Union Bank Field earlier this season, the Bucks and Three Rivers (MO) rescheduled their series for Tuesday afternoon. The original weekend was slated for a 3-game series, but the two teams settled for a doubleheader. This is the first time that each school has played each other in any sport.
It was a tough day at the ballpark for the home team as Three Rivers took both games: 11-2 and 5-1.
Offensively, the Bucks only had 8 hits in the doubleheader, including 2 doubles. Geovani Escandon (Plantation, FL) and Ben Welch (Coppell, TX) each had a double a piece. A pair of Bucks drove in a run on the day: Escandon and Ethan Miller (Hallsville, TX).
On the mound, the highlight of the day was the staff struck out 20 hitters with Preston Thomas (Longview, TX) and Connor Frith (Perryville, AR) each striking out 5 piece in Game Two to the lead the Bucks. The staff gave up 16 runs (10 earned) on 18 hits. Thomas (0-1) and Hayden McCarley (Dewitt, AR) (0-1) took the losses in their starts.
The Bucks will now have a day off before they play a 4-game home series on Thursday and Friday against Moberly Area Community College. First pitch is scheduled for 12 pm on Thursday and 10:30 am on Friday.
