(October 27, 2025) Enid, Oklahoma - After solid season for both the UARM Men's & Women's Soccer Teams, the Bucks are headed back to the Region 2 Soccer Tournament for the first time since 2022 for both teams. The tournaments will be held on October 30th - November 2nd at the Advance Soccer Complex in Enid, Oklahoma.
Men's
The men finished the regular season with a 4-8-2 overall record (4-6-2 in region play). In their last six games, the men are 3-2-1. The Bucks have earned the #5 seed in the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament and will take on the #4 seed Rose State College on Thursday, October 30th, at 9 am. The Bucks drew with the Raiders at home on August 27th, but fell 3-0 later in the season in Midwest City, OK. If the Bucks win, they will take on #1 Murray State College on Friday, October 31st, at 9 am.
This is the Bucks first tournament appearance since 2022. From 2019 to 2022, the Bucks made 4 straight straight Region 2 Championship games, winning two of them in 2019 & 2021. The Bucks were eliminated both seasons in the District Tournament.
Women's
The ladies finished the regular season with a 11-1-2 overal record (8-1-2 in region play). This is the best regular season finish for the women's program in school history. Instead of being just the Region 2 Tournament, the tournament is an automatic qualifier for the NJCAA DI Women's Soccer National Tournament which makes it the NJCAA Central Plains District Tournament.
The Bucks earned the #2 seed from the South Division and will play on Thursday, October 30th, at 11:30 am at the Advance Soccer Complex. UARM will play Redlands Community College, who is the #3 seed from the North Division. The Bucks beat the Lady Cougars at home on September 21st, 3-0. If they ladies win, they will take on the North's #1 seed, Rose State College, on Friday, October 31st, at 11:30 am.
In the past, UARM Women's Soccer has qualified for the postseason tournament three previous times (Spring 2021, 2021, & 2022). The Bucks best finish was a semi-final appearance back in 2021.
